WARNING…
You will quickly find that I am not your typical “Shirt and Tie” kind of Insurance Guy. If we work together I want to be me, and I want you to be you- both of us happy and comfortable. I’m a jeans and golf shirt kind of guy. Or sometimes I’m in my cowboy hat and boots- either way I’m pretty casual.
BUT… I take what I do EXTREMELY SERIOUSLY.
I also have a tendency to joke around and have fun. Frankly if it’s not fun- WHY DO IT?
What I deal with is certainly not fun, so I try to make it as easy, fun, enjoyable and relaxed as possible.
So, if you see me in a shirt and tie- somebody died. Upside- I sell Life Insurance so we can be ahead of the wave if I show up in a shirt and tie. (Sorry… Insurance Humor)
My Philosophy…
I have a passion to EDUCATE and HELP people.
I do not consider myself to be a salesman. In fact I despise that old school perception of the “slick salesman”. You know the guy who will say or do anything to sell you something he has- whether it is right for you or not, the quality is good or not, the value is right or not. I don’t SELL anything. I build relationships, EDUCATE and HELP people and if one of my products or services benefits YOU (not me….YOU), then I can help you buy what is the best for you by offering my expertise to advise you in your choices.
If what I do for a living doesn’t benefit you I’m certain you have a family member, close friend, employee, co-worker or someone you care about that it would benefit. Are you willing to help me help them?
What TO Expect…
If you meet with me I like to get to know people before I try help them. I will ask you questions to find out if we are a good fit and if I can help you, or your business, with one of my products or services, or if I know someone that can better serve your needs. If you would like me to share some of my knowledge and help you then GREAT!
What NOT TO Expect…
Pressure and/or Hard Selling Tactics. It is perfectly acceptable to say “NO” to me. After we talk, if you decide that either we are not a good fit or my products and/or services do not fit well for you then I DO NOT want to do business with you (no offense). I like to have happy clients and that would not lead to a satisfying relationship for either of us.

Generally in life you get what you pay for and I personally refuse to offer unacceptable quality products or services. I work with Top Quality carriers and plans and I also work with Budget/Value Plans…. BUT nothing of low quality or value.

How I Became An Income Protection Advisor…
All four of my grandparents died from cancer. I have lived first hand through the financial strain and hardships of caring for sick family members. Your income goes down and costs go up… sometimes WAY up.
Then two incidents happened at almost the same time:
1) A high school friend, in her late 30’s, was diagnosed with cancer and the fundraisers were started by friends to help her.
2) An older person I know had a knee replacement and was on FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act- that is unpaid in case you didn’t know). It took her longer to heal then expected and she lost her job. As a result of going 12 weeks unpaid and then needing more time she her job, which resulted in her losing her house. If she had a Short Term Disability policy she would not have lost her house. I was too late to help her- my own mom.
